The BI Builders LIQUID methodology ensures that your business intelligence project will meet your business goals on time, and on budget.
LIQUID is a flexible project delivery process that allows us to provide consistent and proven services, as well as quality assurance and project management to any reporting, analysis, dashboard or data warehouse project.
A Methodology for Multiple Projects
LIQUID allows for single or staged delivery, as well as different business intelligence (BI) development approaches such as waterfall, prototypes, development approach hybrids and agile techniques. Longer projects can be broken in to short phases, which iterate through the core stages. Each phase may last as little as 2 or 3 weeks, and will yield concrete metrics and deliverables.

LIQUID is flexible and scalable enough to accommodate any size of project: data warehousing, etl, dashboards, complex and simple enterprise reporting. It has modular stages -- processes based on industry best practices that produce consistent and measurable results.
Why is this methodology important?
Without a defined methodology like LIQUID, you wouldn't be sure that the project would be completed on time and on budget. We wouldn't be sure that we are delivering the services you need to meet your business intelligence goals in the most effective manner. LIQUID gives us a framework to build the program together so everybody is on the same page. This is unique to the BI Builders.

I just have a simple project, do I need all this?
No, LIQUID is modular, so we can adapt to your requirements. A number of our clients have simply needed help with construction and testing (of an ETL routine for instance). The important thing is to build on what you've already done, and towards realizing your overall strategy.
